Not everyone is into road trips. And I’m sure you can count with one hand the number of people you know that have dared the cross-country trip on their own- just because they could.
Introducing our awesome and impromptu guest blogger: Hernan. Who, by the way, is not an official Travel Bloguera, but he takes funny videos and funny pictures, so why not. His adventures are taking him from Los Angeles, California, to Raleigh, North Carolina. And he’s documenting it all through little videos he shares on our WhatsApp group. I then lift the best of them and share them here. Maybe I’m his guest blogger.
He whasapped with us directly from Crater of Diamonds State Park, which is located in Murfreesboro, AR (which by the way, none of us figured out how to pronounce!). Crater of Diamonds is the only diamond-producing site in the world that is open to the public, and even invites you to hunt for diamonds. The park is over 37 acres, of eroded surface of an ancient volcanic crater that 100 million years ago brought to the surface the surface the diamonds and some of the semi-precious stones lucky visitors might find there today.
Unfortunately, he reported he found none. Too bad. I told him he would have had better luck at Kay Jewelers, but he saw no interesting adventure there.
Have you ever been hunting for diamonds?
